Originally, our meeting time was 8:30 AM. But as usual, we managed to get out of Manila by 10:30AM (Super late). It's just sad because one of my co-workers had an emergency so she wasn't able to come (Sya pa naman yung excited)
We thought we're getting lost because we really don't have any idea how to get there, we just asked the mamang kundoktor to drop us off to Isdaan.
Signs that you're lost -- Hindi mo na kilala yung nasa campaign posters
Then finally, after 2 hours of worrying if we're lost, we reached Isdaan. And what did we do first? PICTURE TAKIIIING.
Isdaan is a theme restaurant that serves local dishes and they made the place look like a fishing village with huts and kawayan bridges. There's Barrio Fiesta, other ihaw-ihaw restos then we ended up at White Buddha -- I think because it's the Chinese New Year but no, it's not a Chinese Restaurant.
Ang haba ng menu nila, ang hirap pumili. SOBRA.
So we ordered what they called Mam Chit's Special. It has a little bit of everything. Lumpiang Shanghai, Lechon Kawali, Hito, Tilapia, Hipon, Alimasag, Ensaladang Mangga, Lumpiang Togue, Fried Chicken. Plus we ordered three calderos of kanin plus buko juice. It's just sad that their soup is not free (Hindi nga naman sila karinderya) and the table's kinda small. Sakto lang yung bilao sa table, hindi na maipatong yung plato. Haha!
Picture picture din
Then after we ate, we roamed around and found out that there's a free boat ride -- Yey!
And there's Tacsiyapo. For those who don't know what Tacsiyapo is, here's a brief description. Tacsiyapo is , I think, a vulgar word in Kapampangan. They sell you mugs, plates, wall clocks and for those who have more anger to vent, they also sell old TVs that you can throw to the wall while shouting TACSIYAPOOOO. Yeah it's a waste of money but it wouldn't hurt if you try it at least once. And I'm still wondering how you can throw the TV all the way to the wall.
Notice that the most people threw at was the "Taksil" one. Hmmm...
Then after that, we had to go home because my new-found friend needs to go to work that night. But we really had a good time. So that's about it.
Say hello muna kay Kuya Willie at sa Wowowee Girls!
